Since the beginning, the Fraternal Order of Police Huachuca Lodge 28 has hosted the event. This spooky community event relies on the other organizations that work together to create a new experience every year. The original groups involved in the first haunted house were Fry Fire Department, Huachuca City Fire Department, Sierra Vista Fire Department and Fraternal Order of Police Huachuca Lodge 28.

Road Ahead
For several years the core group of those involved in the building of this haunted House have had some great ideas. The problem every year was usually a lack of time to get approval and implement the changes. Some of these changes were implemented in 2018 on the building side, however we wanted to implement more.
This year we have implemented the new name and logo as well as this website. We are starting a contest for the scariest/favorite room, this will be judged by everyone who visits Sierra Vista Nightmare. Another big change, mostly for us involved in the build is the location search started much earlier this year. This will give us more time to plan and build an even better experience for you. We are close to having secured our Ideal location for 2019 and will provide more information on this later.
The name Sierra Vista Nightmare is finally giving a name to the event. Nothing else is changing on how things are ran as far as who benefits from the event. All of the organizations that are involved are all working towards making Sierra Vista and Cochise County a better community. All the funds and donations that are received will still go back to these organizations to continue with their specific missions in our community.
